The Grid

A process is a set of squares someone can point to.

SME Process Improvement Consulting at AppAnchor Grid starts with paper on a wall at the height of a tired supervisor, not a digital twin nobody opens after Thursday.

Squares

Each square is a place work stops or changes hands: a bench, a tray, a signature, a crib. If you cannot walk to it, it is not a square yet; it is a wish.

Lines

Lines are allowed routes. A leap job is a line drawn in gold that still has to pay the squares it skipped. We make that payment visible in hours.

Anchors

An anchor is a named person who can halt a wait without a committee. Clinics fail when every square is “the team.”

What we refuse to fake

We will not hang a future-state cartoon that ignores the night crew. We will not time a cell only while guests are watching. We will not call a binder a process if the binder lives in an office the operators never enter.

Where to go next

If you want the eight-week version on one family of work, open the programs list. If the mix is already moving too fast for a clinic, write the studio from contact and ask for a Diagnostic Walk first.
